Wherever old cartons which have been flattened
are piled up, the use of the new ProfiPack from Office Life (formerly HSM) is rewarding. The
compact cutting equipment converts this waste material quickly into
cardboard mats which can be used in many ways as packaging pads. The user
therefore has two advantages at the same time: No need to buy packaging
material and reduction of disposal costs.
The
handling of this quick-change artist is child's play: Used cardboard is
simply pushed by hand into the feeding slot where it is pulled in by the
cutting rollers and processed into a carton mat with an airy mesh structure.
The corrugated cardboard is not only perforated but also formed by the
special cutting shafts and, in the same process, also cut to the desired
width.
The cutting rollers are driven by a generously
dimensioned electric motor (4.0 kW) allowing a throughput speed of up to
twelve metres of cardboard per minute. Cutting rollers and motor can process
up to three layers of corrugated cardboard at the same time which
significantly increases the productivity of the machine. The maximum width
of the cardboard mats is 425 millimetres. |

PacMaster® technique converts empty corrugated boxes, which previously
cost money to dispose of into "FREE"
large volume filler material suitable for packing even sensitive goods
for transport. Best of all - It's

The corrugated boxes are simply cut to the
required format in the preliminary cutter. The working surface has
standard size guides marked on it and
along with the sliding guide, accurate cutting is guaranteed. The strips
are then fed into the inlet where specially patented cutting shafts turn
them into bulky packing mats.
